Priest is a religious office known to exist on Mistmantle Island and Whitewings Island; it is unknown whether it exists elsewhere. The priest's role is to serve as a spiritual guide to believers in the Heart, and to provide blessings and counsel as well as receiving confessions of guilt. Priests also receive Prophecies from the Heart and at times forewarning of other events, such as nights of Riding Stars. On Mistmantle the office of priest includes automatic membership in The Circle.
